Career Coaching for Women Scientists

Individual hands-on career coaching in November 2022 with Anne Scharf, a female coach who is specialized in career consulting for scientists. She offers a 3-hour coaching session either in German or in English and, of course, in terms of absolute confidentiality.

Possible range of topics:

  • Strategic career planning
  • Project presentation – with video coaching
  • Communication of career goals to team leader and asking for support
  • Leadership questions
  • Conflicts within the team
  • Application training including professorship appointments

Workshop on “Communication & Conversation” for Female Scientists

Soon, we are offering a workshop with Angelika Keller on “Communication & Conversation” for our female scientists. In this workshop you learn to interpret your communication partner correctly and improve your own conversation techniques by using positive language, active listening and your body language. Role plays and exercises will support theoretical input and provide the opportunity to gain confidence in conducting different types of conversations.

For female researchers, we offer the workshop “Scientific posters: design and pitching”

Workshop for Female Scientists

More visibility for your expertise. An elevator pitch is how you would describe yourself, product, business, or key-value driver in a matter of seconds. Designed specifically to share while riding the elevator together to a meeting.

The workshop “My Virtual Elevator Pitch” will take place on two days (2 x 4 hours) in July. Due to limited places, three courses can be offered.

Course I: July 5th and 6th, 9:30 – 13:30

Course II: July 19th and 20th, 9:30 – 13:30

Course III: July 27th and 28th, 9:30 – 13:30


Goals:You know how to present your project as well as your expertise
You know how to create and structure your elevator pitch
You learn more about your target group and their problems
You know how essential it is to communicate in stories and pictures
You know how to stage your virtual appearance in a professional manner
You talked to a sparring-partner about your ideas and are looking forward to go public
